Bosch exxcel WVD24520gb/05 stopping after wash cycle

hi….i’m hoping for some help….my bosch washer dryer (5 years old)is completing the wash cycle , pumping the water out and then stops…it does not start to fill for the rinses..no error code….the dryer function works fine.
if i start a rinse cycle , it will complete the rinse , pump the water out but will not progress to the spin…any ideas please? thanks

hi…i seem to have fixed it…..i found a dirty , smelly , rotten little sock at the top of the sump hose above the white plastic ball thingy!
testing it now and it has gone past the point where it stopped before , so hopefully all will be fine..well happy….thanks…john
