ParticipantHi guys need help with my Bosch Exxcell 1200 WFO2465GB.
The machine keeps washing no matter what programme is selected. The light on the panlel goes from wash to rinse but all it does is as if it keeps washing. Turns the drum slowly one way and slowly the other. Time left stays at 1 minute.
I have read other posts saying it could be the heater but during the cycle if i feel the door it is warm so must be heating the water. Have checked all the obvious water in isn’t blocked. Water out is bent or blocked. Drain pump is clear and working okay.
The only way i can overcome this is to wait until it gets stuck. Stop the programme and then select “Rinse/Freshen up” which will do the rinse drain and finish!
Any help most appreciated….

ParticipantTry it on a cold wash and see if it progresses to the end as normal. If it does work normally then there is a 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} probability that its the heater.
Feeling heat through the door is no real test. The only way to make 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure is to do a continuity test of the heater element itself. It’s resistance should be about 28ohms .
