Bosch Exxcell 1400 Express Help me Diagnose please

hi there
first post but lots of research done first! 🙂
i have a bosch exxcel 1400 express
model number wae 28465gb

first noticed problem when wash finished and clothes were soaking wet
advised to replace the brushes as it wouldnt spin etc
bought new brushes, turned machine on side , removed motor and replaced brushes (old ones were the same length so poss not this?)

was advised to run machine on 600 spin for couple to tiems with new brushes.
spun once perfect then second time stopped

then would start spin 5 secs, then pump for 2-3 mins then eror finish with flashing light and a zero on the display

now when turn on any pogram drum turns for 5 secs then low hum from machine.

apologies for long post but wanted to give as much info as poss

dont want to spend mega bucks on parts without knowing what the cause is.

Is the 5 second spin a very quick Whizz ? or a slow turn ? If its a very fast , short spurt of a spin then its possible that the motor tacho is kaput or there’s a broken wire on the motor loom
