Bosch f/f mod FD7608

Please can anyone tell me what an E2 fault is on a Bosch fridge freezer about 20 yrs old freezer frost free working fine conventional fridge on top warm no main voltage to diverter valve also model number worn away only fd no left.

That ain’t the mod number Larry but the Fabrication Date (FD) and in this case the old fridge was made in August 1996 😉

I don’t know the number is worn away all that’s left is 01GB/01

Without the full ENr number we are pi&&ing in a gale I’m afraid. 🙁

No doubt you have hit the ‘Search’ button and found the general consensus based on random old Bosch F/F’s refers to the PCB as the main culprit…..???
