Bosch F21 Error

This machine is showing this error code which is motor fault. The brushes were worn so replaced them but cant clear the error code. Is there a procedure for resetting it?

You will need to enter the test mode to clear it. Its also still under manafacturers warranty by the looks of it. We normally replace the control module with this particular fault with an under-guarantee machine.

The machine is in a guest house so the warranty would be void due to commercial use(the customer pointed this out to me when i mentioned the warranty). This is also why the brushes were completely worn out after just 18 months. How do i enter the test mode? Will the module be knackered too possibly?

Sorry cant help on that but suggest you ring Bosch tech dept and they could fax you a copy. 😀

Hi
To enter the test mode on that machine follow instructions bellow

– Close the door
– Set program selector switch to position 0 (“OFF”)
– Wait two seconds
– Set program selector switch to position 8
– Wait until the start LED is flashing. (will take about two seconds)

– Wait two seconds
– press and hold Reduce spin speed button
– Set program selector switch to position 9
– Release the “Spin speed” button.

The machine should then be ready to be tested.
