Bosch FD8811 WAE24467 Washer F18 Fault

Hi,
Customer complaint – not draining on certain progs. All components checked out ok – she rang later saying F18 appeared on display and now machine won’t spin. Is it brushes or drain pump or both?

If its an intermittent draining prob , first off I’d be looking at the drain hoses/sump/pump for a coin or a button maybe trapped and partially blocking the drain flow .

F18 is a drain problem fault – Brushes/motor is F21

Thanks Paul,
Customer runs a riding school – saw lots of horse hair in drain standpipe and at end of drain hose. Sump and pump OK – will call back and check drain hose.
