ModeratorI sold the filter from a brand new pump to make a FTF on a Bosch WFL2260UK the pump part number was 144484 and is Askoll with a black housing/white filter and now I have ordered 3 different filters and none fit so I am stuck with £40 odd of filterless pump. I have ordered 172339, 605010 (superceeds to 601996) and 151409.
Why didnt I just fit the whole pump and be done with it!!!!!! things we do to save the customer a few quid, why bother. enough to drive you whiskey in your Tea. Any ideas on the part number?

Hi Mark
There are three models to this range, WFL2260UK/01 and WFL2260UK/04 which use 141874 pump(changed to 144484) with 2 different filters that correspond to either an askoll(Filter 151409 changed to 605010) or coprecci pump(Filter 182430).The last one WFL2260UK/12 which only uses pump 144484 and filter 605010.I hope that helps

Deep breaths Mark 😀
According to BSH website and Tradeplace there is no supercession for that part. You sure it wasn’t a copreci pump? 😕Greg

Hi!
144484 superseded 144305 on our van stock
It appears they have changed the design of the filter to give it a longer handle as customers were reporting diffiulty openining the earlier types.
Unfortunatly the real reason they couldn’t open them mostly was because they were so full of crap 😆 , but anytime an engineer books a warranty call to a machine for a blocked pump and says ‘Customer unable to remove filter’ instead of charging the lazy bleeders the factory concened look at the part, improve it and thus it gets superseded. Seems this is what happened here.
Not much help for you though 🙁
I went to a new one the other day (WAE type) and that had one fitted, had to replace the pump as a coin had damaged the housing, accidental damage cover agreed to pay for it so saved the filter and is the new type, if you get really stuck PM me and i’ll post it on, better than nothing! 😀

Thanks Steve. pm sent. It was the long handle type I knicked from the new pump so I think you are right.
