HI wonder if you can help. I have a Bosch Frost Free Economic KKU3201GB/05. It is about 8 years old and have never had a problem till now.
The freezer has started to lose its temperature. It started about two weeks ago with the freezer giving out a very low whine when I shut the door. Now I only have to open the door and it takes it about two days to get back up to temperature.
Any ideas as no one seems able to help me.
Some one did suggest emptying it, leaving it to wind down to nothing for two or three days and then “rebooting” it !! Any ideas please need my freezer deperately have small baby.

    thanks very much

Yes, sounds like the freezer evaporator has frozen up. Fully defrost it by turning off and leaving it for at least 24 hours.

If the problem re-occurs then I would suggest you call an engineer, as there may be a problem with the defrost cycle.
