Ww have a Bosch Cooler 3* KGV2604GB/04 fridge freezer, bought in 1995.

The door seal is going on the top part of the fridge (’cause we keep opening the door at the top instead of where the handle is poorly located lower down 🙂

I presume that I can replace just the seal, not needing a new door. If so, I justcan’t find this part anywhere (I have searched quite a few uk websites). Any ideas where I might get one. Also, are they relatively easy to fit?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    David

    Re: Bosch fridge door seal

Many thanks – I’ve located the part on the Bosch website – I just have to decide if it’s worth paying for a new door!

I’m tempted to say, superglue or sikaflex the seal (silicone would probably do at a pinch) OR…visit a camping shop..vinyl solvent /glue is available and would bond the seal much better (most seals ARE vinyl and not rubber1)

then move the handle 🙂 if it’s one of those that’s mounted on the edge, with a couple of self-tappers.. should be easy and you haven’t anything to lose as the door’s basically scrap anyway.
