Bosch fridge freexer freezing fridge contents

Hope you can help?

The compressor seems to be going contantly and therefore a layer of frost is building up on the rear of the fridge and the food goods are freezing.
Temperature setting dial appears to have no effect.

Previously, i had the problem of the fridge/freezer ceasing to work for a while in which time the freezer gauge in the door would show it was almost defrosting, it would eventually switch back on and save the day.

Hope this is enough info, I sadly can’t find the model number but its a standard bosch fridge freezer (no frost free, or digital temp read out)

It will be the thermostat by the sound of it but without the model number it’s impossible to be certain I’m afraid.

If you remove the salad bins, the label should be around there somewhere 😉

Ah, it doesn’t have a thermostat then, it’s electronically controlled.
