    I have a model KGU3201 GB/05
Recently the freezer temp started to climb. After a bit of trouble shooting and quick reference to this forum I have concluded that it is a fault with the defrost circuit.
There are 2 defrost heaters in the back of the freezer compartment. One is for the drip tray and measures about 300 ohms the other is for the evapourator and measures 2700 ohms.
Is this the correct resistance for the evapourator heater element?
It doesn’t sound right. Are spare elements available?
    Thank you.

Was there a large amount of ice build up around the back of the freezer ?

If there wasn’t, the elements should in theory be OK, I would be tempted to read the other threads on the same model as that is where the problem lies more than likely.

Power off when running checks 😉

    Dave.
