Hi Can anyone help me with an issue we are having with our Bosch Fridge Freezer – KGU3201GB/07. The temperature for both the fridge and freezer has been steadily increasing for the last week and the alarm sounding. It finally reached a peak last night and we had to shut it off. Around the back, the gas bottle shaped object at the bottom was red hot.

Any advice on what we should do? I have read that we should clean the condensing coils on the back but beyond that is there anything we can / should be doing?

    Thanks!

    that isnt a good sign

it may well be a system problem, but it might be worth defrosting it for 36 hrs and trying it again first, it could just be choked with ice
