Bosch Fridge Freezer KGU3220GB – fridge not working properly

Can anyone provide me with some advice or help?
I’ve had this fridge freezer for approx. 6 months, with no problems. Came from a local village hall, so not use much. Unfortunately, I have no manual 🙁
I’ve managed to figure out how to stop the alarm and set the frezer temp, and until this week the fridge was always at approx 2 or 3 degrees, without me doing anything and with the ‘wheel’ inside set at one black dot.

However, the temperature has suddenly shot up to 11 degrees! All the food has gone, so it is now empty, and I have turned the wheel to 3, but the temperature is not even dropping slightly. The freezer, however, is still fine.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, so that I may start drinking tea with milk again!

first thing to do is a good defrost – empty fridge and freezer and switch off , leaving doors open , for 48hrs . Switch back on and see if it cures the fault.
