Bosch Fridge Freezer KGV2620

The interior light does not switch off fully. My electrician friend changed the bulb, but pressing in the switch just dims the light. He says that the fault probably lies in the unit in which the bulb is housed, and that sourcing a replacement could be so expensive as to make buying a new fridge freezer a viable alternative. Any thoughts? I live in Ireland in case that makes a difference. Kieran Fagan

Hi Keiran,

Do you have the full ENR number, there’s multiple variants of that model?

It’s only another few letters and couple of digits on the end of the model you have.

Sounds like the winter mode switch is in the on position, locate it and turn it off, so the interior lamp then goes off completely.
On some units it is a small toggle switch located on the thermostat/light housing.
