    Considering the appliance is 12years old, its done remarkably well, well I think so anyway.
    The foamed in sensor is none repairable and only a replacement PCB will rectify (263782) approx £100 +VAT. Try the links below depending on ability.

    The quality of the appliance compared to todays, is far more substantial, but at the end of the day the decision is yours.

    Thanks for the info. After a day of normal operation, E2 is back. I will make some calls about repair tomorrow.
    Is the Logixx range the current similar range? If so thats out of my price range.
    Any recommendations for a medium sized frost free fridge freezer?
