I have a Bosch fridge freezer (I don’t have a model number or anything, sorry) that I think just died.

I was using it about an hour ago, had the door open and then all of a sudden, without doing anything, the light went out and ever since then it’s not been cooling. However, the little green light that’s supposed to indicate the temperature setting is still on, and the freezer section also seems to be working just fine.

Anyone have a clue what that might be and if it’s worth fixing?

Just to recap: light not working, fridge not cooling; power is getting there, freezer’s still working.

    Dear fridge lover

Do please provide the model (Enr) number as there’s hundreds of different ones out here!

I do love fridges but I don’t love this one… because it doesn’t have a model number anywhere on the front/insides and I can’t get it out of its encasement because it’s well heavy. Sorry.

One other thing to report though. I *think* it’s partially started working again, or at least it’s started cooling again. The light is still off but I’ve noticed some frost has formed on the bit at the back of the fridge (which earlier on wasn’t frosty at all).

Model number usually located on the inside wall lining, having first removed the salad drawer. 😉

Bad news guys. Because I didn’t get any help with this the fridge got worse and worse til it exploded this morning and now my kitchen wall has a hole in it.
