I have a 30 year old Bosch gas hob in great working order etc. Without taking it out of the recess in the worktop, we think the model number is NET630CEU. The small rubber ignition cover is now only just about in one piece. We think the part number for the cover is 00068999. Nowhere seems to have any or know where to get a replacement. Any help much appreciated. Many thanks, DDDerrick.
There are four different versions of that hob and all have different part numbers for ignition cover. Your part number is obsolete and no stock is available at Bosch. Google does not turn up anything either.
30 years ago the estimated life would have been approx 10 years so to get 30 is great but now is the time to have it replaced. Do you have a carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen?
Don, Thanks for that information …. unfortunately, it is as I feared.
We do have a carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen; but that is because we have an oil fired boiler in the kitchen as well. The Bosch hob is run from Propane gas, not natural gas; not sure if that makes a difference ?
But, many thanks for replying. Just hope there may be someone with a similar model rusting away somewhere …. who knows. Thanks, DDDerrick.
