Bosch HBE622 trips circuit breaker after 10 minutes

Hi,
The fan oven used to trip a circuit breaker when switching off. Now it trips the circuit breaker after approx 10 minutes use. Reset breaker, then oven works fine for as long as required. I have replaced the breaker, but fault remains. The fan spins freely, so I suppose it’s the element at fault? Any ideas please. Is it easy to replace? When using the grill or bottom oven (not fan assisted), everythings ok. Thanks

Can you find the rest of the model number for this one please? It appears to have a fan motor, but no fan element; and there are a few variants.

Hi penguin45,

the TYPE is HBE662HGB, the E Nr is the same, FD=7501 135549, and there is another number 195.309943. These are from the label actually on the oven. On the back of the operating instructions booklet, it says HBE660HGB, and Ident Nr is 514368. Hope this helps, and thanks for your speedy response

Right, this one does have a fan oven element, behind the rear panel in the oven. P/no 083517, about £41 from memory, although I’m pretty sure that a pattern alternative is available. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk to find out and order!

Fitting is basically a screwdriver job, although the oven will have to be removed from the housing due to a rear fixing on the element. Power off, obviously.
