Participantmodel number is HBN 430550B
Was working fine until this am.
No light in oven ( but bulb filament looks OK), all heating options on LH selector knob are dead ( both oven and grill). However fan comes on for the options which have fan assist .
Big fan visible at back of oven not turning
Thermometer indicator is showing on panel but no heating
Clock is set and is on manual, so that is not the problemAny ideas?

With cooker switch off you could get the oven out and take off the back panel. Have a look at the wiring connections to check for any burnt out wires.

Thanks for the reply.
That’s my plan, but I was hoping someone out there might recognise the collection of symptoms and enable me to narrow my search!

As Phidom says cooker switch off ———plus just in case of a power leak switch off at main fuse board, should be marked cooker/oven.

There appear to be a couple of thermal limiters on the top of the oven which would be worth investigating.

As suggested have taken out oven, removed top and back covers.
Only visible damage seems to be signs of overheating ( cracked insulation and discolouring of the wire itself) on the last centimetre or so of 2 of the wires which connect to the function selector. The wires are:
Blue connecting to the 3rd spade connector on the left side of the selector
Black connected to the 2nd spade on the right side of the selecor switchThe rest of these 2 wires are OK….no signs of damage to the wires along their length or to the incoming terminal connector where they trace back to.
Does that give anyone out there a clue as to what’s up, or is it a call to repair man?
Function selector itself seems OK
