ParticipantHi guys.
Are the clocks on these ovens prone to failure?.
I`ve got one that shows time but the oven wont work.
Seems like clock but did`nt have a lot of time when on site to investigate fully………….child lock is off!!!.

ParticipantWhen you say the oven doesn’t work , what does it actually do ? ( maybe that should be…. or doesn’t do ? )

The time is visible on clock but neither oven or grill will work.

In that case I would check the temperature limiter hasn’t failed 😉

If the limiter has failed it takes the neutral feed away from the circo oven and grill

Bit of a long shot but I seem to remember this model has a magnet in the door top right side which activates a magnetic switch just under the fascia so the oven will not work with door open.
Reason I say this is I had one once where the magnet had vanished so nothing would work.

JohnThese “professional” oven cleners, have a nasty habit of stripping the doors and mis-placing said magnet :rolls:
This one though, AFAIK doesn’t have the reed s/w. Check the selector s/w carefully, if all you get is the cooling fan when switching on then I’m 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain thats your fault 😉

I checked the selector and it was like brand new same as the rest of the oven.
I don`t think its had much use.November 20, 2007 at 11:13 pm #234305superfix

Just try turning it to fan setting or grill, if the cooling fan runs and nothing else I’m willing to bet you the selector s/w is goosed 8)
