bosch hbn331e4b built in single oven

hi guys i replaced a neff . oven . with this bosch . old one was very tight fit in space under work top . been fine for years . this new bosch was a tight fit also . having to prise up work top to get it in properly . been in for a week working fine . until yesterday customer called and the inner glass has imploded.. 😡 i have managed to get a replacement from retailer . would it be because a really tight fit . it would cause the glass to implode ? or more likely a faulty bit glass .?advice please. before refit another one ?

cant see tight fitting causing glass problem as I would expect the door not to close properly first
