Here is my tale of woe!
For some time now our above-mentioned oven has been very noisy when the cooling fan kicks in (Circulation fan is fine) . So being an engineer in a slightly different field, I decided to have a crack at it. Stripped it down fine, it was all gunked up with grease, so I cleaned it and reinstalled. All good so far.
Unfortunately I then did something really stupid and left the oven light wires hanging loose. When I switched it on it blew the trip and I immediately knew what I had done so I refitted the wires and thought I would get away with it. No such luck!
The digital display works and I can set the clock which then sets a relay to power the oven (I believe the oven will not work without setting the clock) but I have no power to the light or elements etc. Even the indicator lights above the Selector and Thermo do not light.
It is not set to timer mode or anything so I can only assume that I may have blown a something.
Would appreciate any help that you can give with this.
