    Hi
Has anybody any idea how long the main oven should take to reach 200deg C so the temp lamp goes out, from a cold start up? Mine can take 45 mins or more, 😕 it also seems to have started burning food especially cakes etc that are towards the back right hand corner of the oven…
It recently had a new thermostat in the main oven, but i dont know if this is related at all.
    Any ideas
    Cheers

is it a fan-oven? if so, is the fan working?

Does the oven have more than one element? if so, are they all working?

A thermostat is just a switch…..your oven is either not producing as much heat as before, or not spreading it evenly as before.

you need to methodically check both the above pointers.

    Hi
Yeh its a fan oven , and the fan is working fine.
It has one element that is also working fine.
I understand your logic, but its actually burning food towards the top right hand corner of the oven, as if thats like a hot spot, but the oven seems to take an age to reach the temp to turn the light off.
    Strange really
    Cheers

Sounds like a tiring circotherm fan motor IMHO 😉
Power off if your are to attempt any work on the appliance :plug:
