    Dear all;

    Last night our Bosch HM48141 was cooking – then suddenly went off. All power lost.

    The oven is on an RCB which was not stripped.
    It is hard-wired into the mains via a on/off switch.

    This morning I re-cycled the on/off switch and the clock re-lit.
    Turning it on, there was the sound of a fan, and small breeze. The visible fan at the back was not turning, though. Other than this, no light in the oven either.

    I tried it again, and this time it tripped the RCB.

    Power is now back on, and clock is lit, but that’s it.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!!

    If you’re taking the DIY route then it’s time to isolate the power, pull the oven out and check the fan motor and heating elements. Otherwise contact a local repairer who can sort it for you.
