Bosch cooker hood. Model no. DKE995AGB/01. FD8007.

Hood works fine, but when it is switched off (panel switches) there is a hum; akin to a transformer AC type hum. Speed 1 on the panel seems very slow. :hmm:
Looking at the exploded view on BSH site, it appears that this hood is fitted with 2 PCBs and a transformer. One PCB is termed the ‘control module’ at £102 and the other the ‘operating module’ at £163!!! :eeek:
Well, I’m up off of the floor now, so can anyone help with this humming hood problem?

    Cheers,

    Steve.

Had one of these a couple of months back. They couldnt turn it off, ran at a very low speed even when switched off. Maybe it is feeding the motor very slightly in your case. 264223 pcb did the trick £142.00 vat I charged for it. Made the total job around £200! But a lot of hassle to replace a hood so they went ahead with the reapir.

That’s exactly the description of the fault my customer is experiencing!
Thanks very much Mark – I don’t relish ordering anything costing that much without being sure it will cure the fault.

    Cheers,

    Steve.
