Hi. The auto dosing stopped working on the machine some time ago. I couldnt afford to have it fixed so we just lived with out it. The machine was also making a hideous racket on spin cycles so today I’ve pulled the top and back off the washer to investigate….
I’ve discovered that there are wires pulled out of the plugs on the dosing module, which will explain why that’s not working and there was also a component missing from the circuit board…. The dosing module was swinging in the air so that will explain the banging.
However my question is in two parts…. A) if I remove the dosing module completely will it effect anything else on the machine. And b) I can’t see where the module is fastened to the chassis…. There’s no obvious clips etc for it… Anyone able to point me in the right direction as to where it fastens o. . Thanks….
