    customer wants to import a Bosch Washing machine & tumble dryer. purchased in the USA. I know the voltage is different here, is it possible to buy converters to use in this country.

    Yes, but you’d have no spares or tech support in the UK.

    It could well be a 240 volt appliance though. Many washing machines in the USA these days run on a seperate 240v supply usually fed down to the basement. 😉
