Bosch induction hob all off

Hi i have been to a friends Boschinduction hob today.

Model PIE611T14E

Machine when switched on via wall socket comes up with 4 little lines/dashes on hob display then blank for a couple of minutes then 4 little lines again .

You normally touch the on/off button to switch hob on and then 4 zeros should be on display .

When you touch on/off button nothing is happening whatsoever .

My friend says they had had a power cut and fault developed since then.

Any pointers please? 🙁

long shot check child lock is not on

after that sounds like serious pcb failure as any other fault would display fault codes etc

you can get owners manual here if you need it
