Customer is complaining that on dry cycle the time is set and will count down and then go back up to the same time hence drying forever. Heat is found in clothes. Any ideas before i go and look at it?

PS knob assembly was replaced some time ago.

    Simon,

3 things to check in this case that can lead to dryer errors, Firstly the condenser ducting getting blocked at the bottom by the hose connection to the tub. Or, the quad valve open circuit(no water flow) and finally the TOC tripping 😉

    If you get a click,then a slight pause,then m/c restarts it’s the power module.Part no 295666.

Had this fault a few times now.Don’t forget to code new board if you fit one.

There will be a coding sheet in box with pcb.

Basically it’s a case of cutting out resistors.Only cut one end though(just in case you make a mistake).
