bosch KAN58A40GB/07 freezer not freezing

hello again moe fridge probs , this bosch american style f/f has developed this problem of not freezing the display reads – 18 but it aint that inside, more like +3 also does anyone have a technical sheet or a diagnostics guide for these models thanks much

is it the whole of the freezer section that isn’t cold or is it more towards the top if the compartment ?

I have had to change a few good freezer fans on these models for ‘warm’ freezers – part no: 601067

i’m 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure it was all through the compartment , in fact its colder at the top of the compartment just checked with the customer

Fans know to fail but thermistor is reading temp as okay. What does the display read if you switch it off an back on at the mains?

same as before it was turned off , -18 freezer 4 fridge , fan works fine had a look around the back , i take it this is the fan you are talking about ? or is there another in the evaporator , i took off the freezer interior panel to expose the evaporator and there is a block of ice at the top of the evap coils so i’ll let it defrost for 36 hours and see if that helps

ok so no change , freezer is now on -21 and its cold ,but its not -21 definitely colder at the bottom than the top and the evap fan is not kicking in anyone know when and how often the evap fan runs for i tried to get a continuity reading from the fan wires but i got nothing same as when the meter was idle

i ordered the evap fan motor 10 days ago , just got it yesterday fitted and working well now thanks guys
