I have a Bosch KAN58A55GB fridge freezer and the ice maker has become faulty. The fridge still produces drinking water absolutely fine, and water is still poured into the ice mould from the pipeline above. This water freezes and some quantities of ice are released into the dispenser. However, the ice produced isn’t cubes, only ever massive chunks. The chunks then freeze to the bottom of the collection tray and so the grinder isn’t very effective at removing them.
The front console of the ice maker is also pushed outwards when ice is requested even though it appears to be correctly fitted on the side rails.
Additionally, a grey cube with a gradient pattern has been dispensed from the internals of the ice maker and there is so clear indication where it has come from.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I would be happy to clear up any of the points made. Thanks
