    Hi. I have a Bosch KGE3301/GB/05 Fridge Freezer- exactly 8 years old.
    The whole unit suddenly “died” overnight.

    The LED display is totally “blank”.
    Fridge door light does NOT illuminate
    Checked the mains supply..OK
    Checked the Plug Fuse..OK

    The circuit board gives out of a very slight humming sound…

    After bypassing the compressor unit from
    all electrical control circuits, (literally running it form the mains), it appears to
    function correctly and coolant can be felt circulating.

    This leaves the control circuit board suspect? The problem is…
    .. has the board just “failed” or could something else have failed and caused the circuit board to fail ?

    I’m not an electrician, but can see no obvious signs of failure such as “charred” components.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
