    Hi all,
I’m new and I need an advice please 🙁

After being unused for a month (I’ve been on holiday), the fridge started to emit the temperature alarm sound because it was acually warming down and both the fridge and the freezer never worked again from that moment.
I run the self test multiple times and it says everything is in working order and I have kept it off to allow any ice obstruction to melt down, but despite that it still doesn’t work.
What do you suggest? It is only 3 years old 🙁
    Many thanks.

If it’s been off then there shouldn’t be any ice blockage.

Eliminating that it leaves you with most probably either a sensor failure or the compressor has packed in.

    Hi kwatt,

Thanks for your reply. If there’s something wrong with the sensor or the compressor then why is the self test passing? Is that possible?
I thought it might have somehow switched to “showroom mode”, but holding the alarm button for 10 seconds, as stated in the manual, has no effect.
I was hoping there could have been some key combination, since the self test is OK 🙂

    No idea.

Bosch do not play nice with technical information and we have no access to it so, you’ve probably got more info there than I do. 🙁
