    I purchased Bosch KGH39X04GB fridge freezer from John Lewis in 2 weeks ago.

    I am dismayed that the fridge’s temperature is not working after I adjusted the high setting to super chill for the fridge after switching the bosch fridge freezer in 30 mins later after delivery.

    It went smoothly without any problems on the freezer and fridge. I noticed in few days later that the fridge temperature’s super chill function stopped which left the fridge compartment warm. Also the food went off and I threw it away into the bin.

    I tried to adjust the fridge’s temperature without any success. The Super Chill function is not working.

    For example I purchased milk in 3 days ago and it went off today unlike my old bosch fridge freezer which was brillant, allowing food to be preserved in very long term.

    The old bosch fridge freezer’s temperature was +2 and am dismayed to find that the new bosch fridge freezer’s compartment is +4.

    I have arranged for the bosch engineer to investigate it on next tuesday.

    In meantime, I want to find out if I made an mistake on switching the new bosch fridge freezer in 30 mins after I was advised to switch it on after 8 hours.

    But the freezer and fridge compartment were working fine.

    I suspect that it may be that the fridge’s temperature device may be not working or faulty.

    Can anyone identiify this problem?

    I am facing exactly the same problem . My 3 months old Bosch KGH39X04GB from John lewis is not cooling. I am currently waiting for the Engineer.

    Is your problem resolved? if yes, then how?

    I had Bosch Service Engineer who came to look at my faulty Bosch fridge/freezer on last Sept 7th 2010.

    He discovered my Bosch Fridge/freezer’s fridge/freezer temperature compartment has been blocked, which blocked the fridge’s temperature, causing the fridge compartment temperature less cold.

    He advised me that the fridge/freezer had to be sent back to Bosch and informed Bosch to arrange for a new replacement.

    It took approx under 2/3 weeks to get a new replacement.

    Your new Bosch Fridge/freezer should be under in warranty & you should claim for compensation for food loss.

    I got compensation from John Lewis’s Customer Service After Sales.
