Bosch KGS3722GB/01 Stopped Working

Hi all, hope someone can help.

I got home last night to find my Bosch KGS3722GB/01 fridge freezer (about 12 years old, no previous problems) has the warning light displaying.

The fridge is warming up but I think the freezer is still working ok (it may just be taking a while to defrost but it was still frozen this morning).

I’m not sure if it is some form of error code being displayed but the lights are flashing in a pattern:

1. Red warning light on with 2 long flashes of both green lights[/*:m:j0sbaxq4]
2. Red warning light stays on for 1 short flash of both green lights.[/*:m:j0sbaxq4]
3. All 3 lights go out[/*:m:j0sbaxq4]
4. Repeat[/*:m:j0sbaxq4]

I took a look around the back and it was thick with dust so I cleaned it all off, then switched it off then back on again and then heard the compressor fire up. This worked for about 10 minutes with the red warning light on constantly and both green lights flashing slowly.

After 10 mins the compressor switched off and the above flashing pattern started again.

Any hints? Any easy fixes or is it off to the shops?
