Just prior to it going out of warranty we had a new control module pcb fitted. Sept last year. Freezer not working following a power cut.

We have just had another short (minute or less) power c ut and Freezer again not working properly. Is it likely the pcb has suffered a spike and requires replacing again?. If so is it possible to obtain a spare.

Yes it is possible, but you’ve nothing to lose by unplugging it for a day then trying again….that may sort it.

It’s also possible that the compressor was running at the time of the power cut in which case it wouldn’t be able to restart after just a minute or two so would trip it’s own TOC as self-protection. The TOC is self-resetting so it would run again after 15-30 mins.
