    Bosch KGU31125GB door left open on very ot day. Now won’t start. Cooled down for several hours. On switch on compressor runs for a few secs then relay clicks and it switches off may repeat this after a pause perhaps once or twice then nothing. It gets hot. It this terminal? unit is 16 years old so its had a good life. Is it time for a new one?

    what you can hear is the overload trip clicking out. when it cools down it clicks in and the process repaeats. its either the starter relay or the compresor failed. there is not much else.
