    Hi,
    Just joined, seeking help.
Our fridge-freezer Bosch KGU3201GB/01 FD7701 has been fine for years. But it has just started overcooling the fridge section (freezer is OK at -18). The display shows 00 and frost is forming inside.
I have made sure the drain-hole & top air-vent are clear, and the condenser is clean. Have tried switching off entire appliance for a couple of minutes, and back on – it does rise slowly to +2, but eventually goes back down to 00. The compressor is pretty warm, but not red-hot.
    Any suggestions, please?
    TIA
    Ian

Re: Bosch KGU3201GB/01 Fridge section overcooling, 00 displa

    Hi Ian,

Assuming it is a frost free unit then fully defrosting it and restarting is the first best option. But I can’t guarantee that will solve it.

BSH do not allow independents (or pretty much anyone bar employees) access to technical support or documentation so support is what we can cobble together from experience.

Or, you pay whatever Bosch demand to fix it as they have you to ransom.

If defrosting and restarting the unit doesn’t solve it I’d suspect a thermistor issue but, without any technical documents, it’s nigh on impossible to say with any certainty.

    K.
