With the help of this forum I’ve found that the E1 error is caused by the failure of the internal fridge sensor. (The fridge contents were frozen, which was probably a big clue)
The Bosch spare parts dept can’t tell me which sensor I need (there are two listed) nor is it obvious how to change it.
The only sensor I can find is located in the left wall of the fridge, in a covered clip-in recess. I presume this is the one to be changed? But how? The cable just disappears into the wall of the fridge.
Any advice would be gratefuly received. Thank you.
