Called to this one around two weeks ago and it appeared to be ice around the defrost drain etc (it’s a frost free) so defrosted with hairdryer and reassembled as per normal. The customer then reported that the appliance worked normally for the next couple of weeks before the freezer temp rose again. It’s now hovering around the minus 10 level but goes as high as minus 8 and sometimes down to minus 15 but never attains the minus 20 which is set on the top panel. Evap is not iced over and the fan appears to switch off and on which the opening and closing of the freezer door.
Any ideas?
