Bosch KGU364640GB FAULT

Hello all we have a 2 year old bosch ff (Bosch KGU364640GB ) which we noticed today that the fridge part was not cooling although the freezer is fine, now last week we had a problem that the LED lights on the top for freezer control stopped working but as the freezer was ok we thought we would be ok but as with all MEN OF THE HOUSE types when the lights stopped working i pressed the freezer temp button (cos we all know that can fix it right) so my theory is that the freezer whilst being frost free has been on too cold (there is a small amount of frost/ice on the rear freezer wall inside behind the drawers) and this has restricted the cool air flow to the fridge compartment as everything seems to be ok (fan in fridge works compressor seems to come on ok etc)

SO A) i’m going to try a full power off 24 hr defrost and if this works can anyone tell me how or what i need to fix the freezer LED lights

ANY ADVICE ON MY THEORY WOULD BE GOOD ASWELL 😉
