Every so often both fridge & freezer stop working. After turning off, losing the frozen food, allowing to achieve ambient temperature and restoring power, the damn thing works again. I get the impression from the forum there is a problem with this range whereby a thermistor may need to be by-pased in order to prevent intermittent operation. I’ve seen reference to 2 Bosch part numbers that are available to achieve this. However, from what I’ve read a simple block connector may do the job. Can someone please help.
    Thanks.

I’m sure there was something on this sort of thing posted a while back if you search for it in the forums.

IIRC there’s a kit or a modification to solve this, but you will need to contact Bosch to get it done.

    Thanks for your response.

Yes I have seen various posts on this. However, there are two part numbers given for the fix, 491415 & 491416. The Bosch spares site does not appear to list either, indeed I do not know which part numberr is relevant. I guess it will now be up to the professionals, although from the posts, if you’ve got the bits, fitting is staightforward.

    Thanks again.
