Bosch KIV38X22GB/04 Fridge Light Problem

After a 12 hour power cut the other day our Bosch KIV38X22GB/04 fridge light has been staying fully on when the door is closed and going fully off when the door is opened. Anyone had a clue whats going on here?

thats very odd cant think of why that would happen

have you tried creating a mini power cut (turn it off at the plug ) to see if it corrects

are you certain its onn when door is closed
if your not sure put you mobile on video and put in fridge and close door, then you will know

but its really odd it turns the light off with door open. does light, with door open, turn off now or wait a few minutes ?

Yep, turned it off at the mains and am sure its on when the door is closed as the bulb is hot when you open the door, you can see the light on just as the door crack opens and you can manually press the door switch which makes it come on.
Very odd! Will try powering it down and back up a few more times.
