    Hi,

I have a Bosch KKU2901/GB01 fridge freezer. I have owned this unit for about 10 years and recently the fridge temperature keeps dropping to freezing on an increasing number of occasions (freezer temperature is not affected). Turning the fridge section off for a while seems to correct the problem but only for a few days.

I’ve read that possible causes could be a faulty defrost timer or a sticking air damper although I’m not sure the fridge section on Bosch models are cooled using an air damper?

I know its 10 years old but I’d like to think that as the problem only affects the fridge there is a cost effective fix. Any ideas ?

That model is spot on spimps 😕
I would imagine you have a sticking diverter valve.
This can only be changed by a refrigeration engineer as it entails breaking into the system to change.
