Bosch/Kupperbusch built in dishwasher IGV659.1

Hi, can anyone help with an error code for this Bosch made Dishwasher?

Went to this machine today with the reported fault of getting stuck on cycle, I followed my instincts and cleared a totally blocked transfer hose and then tested the machine through a 35C heat pause.

The customer called me back an hour or so later to say it had finished the cycle but didn’t pump out and now it seems dead.

After turning it on an off a few times I managed to reset it and get a ‘0’ on the display and get it pumping. It then flashed ’21’ and locked up. The only way to reset it was to use the normal two button reset with the door closed and it beeped incessantly until it was turned off at the wall.

Inspected the module, no dry joints or signs of component damage. Checked for earth faults on all components, checked fill sequence. Everything seems fine.

After reassembly it seemed to work again… Until I left the house of course! It has now gone quiet again with no life at all. My gut feel is the module playing up.

Is the flashing ’21’ an error code?

Any help will be much appreciated.
