    Don’t normally get involved with fridges;

    This integrated fridge (3 years old) apparently is warm / hot inside.
    Can someone kindly give me an idiots guide to what to check and in what order, the fridge light works so there is power.

    Most likely to be the thermostat. Be careful not to confuse yourself with the light on the fridge. Some of these fridges have a thermal switch which cuts the supply to the light. They reset when they cool down. Steve.
