Our washing machine has started displaying F:31 through the wash cycle, although I’m not sure what effect it is having on the programme cycle yet as the machine gets ‘reset’ by the the ‘better half’ when she sees it. 😥
Could anyone tell me what the fault code relates to and how to fix it?

I think F:31 is an overfill fault .
Put the machine on a normal cycle , empty , start it and see where the wat level stops at. It should only fill to about 2 inches above the bottom of the inner drum . If it keeps filling , then you have a problem with the pressure level system.

That would make sense as it seems to be intermittant. could this be a result of the machine being overfilled with clothes?
The problem hasn’t occurred again since I posted, and it goes on every day (at least once!). I will try your recommendation though.
If there anywhere I could get a complete listing of the Bosch fault codes, or how to run their diagnostic fault programme on the machine? I managed to find out how to do it on the LogiXX dishwasher but have no idea what to do on the washing machine
