Bosch Logixx 8 Wont Start E-Nr.Was28469GB/23

Hi there, my washing machine will not start. The power is getting through to it and although the screen is showing the temperature and spin speed settings, I am unable to change anything and it is not giving me an error code 😕 The Start light is flashing but it will not start. I’ve looked on the net and thought it may be the child lock, but holding the Start button for a minute didn’t fix it. Any ideas? It’s a brilliant washer and I’d rather fix her than replace her. Thanks

The control panel looks pretty grubby and the panel is cracked, being as the controls are touch sensitive a clean might not go amiss.

Also does the door lock I wonder?

Hi Martin, cheers for taking the time 🙂 The crack is only superficial (as is the dirt 😛 ), affects the body only, not the controls. The door seems to close okay; it appears to lock when I close it. The panel does get wiped over periodically but I’ve not had a problem with the touch sensitivity. Any other thoughts? It’s frustrating that it’s not giving any error codes :/ I wonder if this is a clue in itself?
