    Hi All

Am having a bit of a problem with the above.

When I arrived at the machine none of the programmes worked and there was a faint buzzing sound only.

The matrix and assosiated pipes were very dirty so all now stripped and cleaned and all progs work ok except “auto”(the only one they use)

The timer has gone from a reported 110 mins to 161mins, it seems to start and run ok for at least 40mins but but then loses water pressure from the arms completly and trickles out for the next 2+ hours

I also cannot for the life of me find the model number for this machine
    on it.

Any help with either greatly apprieciated

    John

I would imagine that this machine has a water point diverter on the heater box causing the loss of water flow to the spray arms. The E nr number is etched on the stainless door panel adjacent the door latch by the way. 😉

So, once you’ve cleaned the gunge from the matrix and sump hose and that the drain pump is working as it should, chances are a new Heater unit is the likely cause?

Any further probs, do please find out that model number first for us OK? 🙂

Check if they’re using 3in1/ 4in1/ max in1 type detergent. It will foam up in this machine causing the turbidity sensor on the heater box to register as ‘water dirty’ and will keep adding rinses all day long.(turbidity sensor only used on auto) This is made worse if they are also still adding rinse aid. Best to use Finish Classic tabs & separate rinse aid in this machine. Also could be the non return valve on the pump letting water back into the machine when it does a pulsed pump out in the middle of the program causing an overfill next time it fills. (remove filters under bottom basket & take out impeller cover on left, 1 torx screw. Non return flap is at 12 o’clock to impeller, lever out with a screwdriver. If it’s made of black rubber then change it, part no. 165262, new ones are a different material, clear in colour.) E number is on the top edge of the door (etched into the stainless) or on a sticker on the edge of the door.
    Wizard.

Just a thought…if it was gunked up in the matrix/transfer hose then maybe the the turbidity sensor is gunked too?
…in which case runing two or three cycles with descaler might sort it :con:

    Hi

Update on this, on removing and refitting same non return valve for drain pump, machine has gone to 60 min programme on auto setting and seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks very much to Martin and Wizard.

The model number is SGS 66A02GB/13
