Bosch Logixx Dishwasher tablet drawer won’t open?

Hi,

Have a 5 years old (used daily) Bosch Logixx full size dishwasher and just lately the tablet dispenser drawer (complete unit where you also fill rinse aid etc) has failed to open after the machine has finished it’s cycle.

The tablet semi disolves and spills out the side leaving a bit of a mess.

The unit can easily be opend and shut using the little blue button when the machine is not being used.

Any one any ideas as to what’s happened?

Is it Engineer time or DIY?

Thought I’d come back to whitegoods as you have been very useful in the past.

ps: Until fixed, can we simply put the tablet into the cutlery basket – will this work?

Its either the wax valve that actuates the dispenser mech and/or the module.
Until its fixed yes you can just put tablet in basket.

Power off if you are to fault/repair yourself. :plug:
